Look, it's wonderful to be here. You did married this beautiful lady, not a state prosecutor. Yes, that's right. She's a prosecutor, but she's prosecuting a better life with me. That's right. And yes, I don't even live in Western Australia. You can see my accent that I come from Western Australia. You can see by my accent. Yeah, you can confirm. You can confirm. Excellent. Very good. I lived in Western Australia for 17 years. I was associate dean at Murdoch University and when this gentleman, Professor Gabriel Moyes was the dean. And I always tell everyone, if you have a problem with me, because you think I'm too radical, he used to be blamed for, because he brought me to Australia. And we worked together very well in the good old days of that university. We have together published about 10 books together or more. And the latest one, I think it's the best book we have ever published.
The Battle for the Soul of Western Civilization. And it's a book that we are having the courage to expose things as they are. And it causes us to pay a price because universities are terrible places. I even told Gabriel. He has more than 24 books published. I have published 24 books. I think we need to have now a book about deconstructing universities in Australia. Exactly. Exactly. Terrible places indeed where we have no academic freedom anymore. They're pushing their left wing agendas. It's really a place where there is no longer free speech. And free speech is very important. Actually, I think the book is very much focused on the idea that we need to have freedom. Freedom is a very important value. Another thing that we are very concerned about is this unholy alliance between the radical left and Islam, which is taking over in Europe.
So one of the chapters in the book I have to refer to, it's a book on ... It's a chapter on the state of Europe, especially Western Europe. It's pretty much over at this moment. And I think it's going to be reaching a point very soon, if not already, of no return. Very soon we're going to have some English refugees coming to this country because they were not watched for enough. They neglected their own faith. And when there is a vacuum taking place, obviously there will be something else occupying what was left. And Islam is doing this job. It's a dreadful religion. It's a religion based on death. It's a death code as much as it is a religion. And of course, the left also loves death. That's why we have a chapter on COVID, which is pretty much based on our experiences as academics.
And even my own experience as a low reform commissioner, I was a low reform commissioner in Western Australia. I thought it was very strange when these people started to talk about saving lives because they love to kill people. I mean, their whole agenda is about abortional demand, alternatia, which they now call assisted suicide. If these people have always tried to be killing you, why enough they would be suddenly changing their minds and want to save your lives. So you have to be really stupid to believe that this would be the case. And then we wrote a book together in a state of fury that took only four weeks to be written on COVID, mandates, vaccine mandates, and all the coercion and the sadness that was envisaged on us. And definitely what happened was a demonstration that my suspicions were right regarding the fact that Australia given to some arrangements, including the so- called idea of parliamentary sovereignty, is indeed an elective dictatorship, which have to actually change this state of affairs and somehow bear in mind that the best way to protect the people is basically to keep our society healthy culturally speaking.
Definitely the rule of law is as much a cultural and political achievement as it is a matter of legal institutional design. There is room for improvement regarding the legal institutional design, but we are being replaced as a population by foreigners who have no idea about the rule of law and no idea about the need to protect fundamental rights and freedoms. The elites have basically, which is good to see, Peter. The elites have basically declared war on us. And sorry if I call them elites because they don't deserve the name. They are oligarchs and they are evil people and it's time to resist before it becomes too late. So this book is actually a book that tells you what you need to know and tells you how bad things are, but also gives you hope because we are in a fight. I prefer to die today in the battlefield than to die in 20 to 30 years time as a coward in a hospital.
I think it's less exciting. So I am willing to pick up a fight. I'm willing to change things. And I would love to see you joining me and Professor Gabriel Moise. We were called for a time such as this. I thought that when I was living in my other country, native country, Brazil, same country as my wife, 25 years ago I moved to Australia. I thought that was God's gift. It used to be a very different place, quarter of a century ago, but now it's not. It's not being pleasant. But do you know what? We can have fun. It's so good to actually declare war on these people. They deserve to be destroyed. It's starting with the woke King, by the way, King Charles. I don't like him. His name is not good. Perhaps he has to think about the fate of another child, another King Charles who must beheaded as a result.
These people are really, really despicable. They are replacing you. They're bringing people who have no idea about our values, our culture. And that's why I say in my PhD is that it's not good enough just to have the right institutions, but you need to have also the right people. And you need to have, because I'm a Christian and understanding that power corrupts and absolute power tends to corrupt. Absolutely. So we need to not only preserve our culture, stop with this terrible idea about multiculturalism. We have to stop with this, but we also need to reestablish checks and balances and separation of powers in this country. We need to make sure that we actively participate in the political debate, that we have the courage to fight for what is right and just, and by doing so, we'll be honouring God and you'll be honouring our future generations.
I really pray and hope that this is a moment of change and transformation for this nation. I believe that Professor Moyes and I have a mission to accomplish that really depends on your health because we can work together to make a difference and we can work together to change the course of history in this nation. I will continue to write. I'll never be silent. I'll fight to the very end to protect you as much as I want to protect myself and my kids, but I want to fight because I'm very upset. We need to do something about what's happening. Let's have a time of reflection about all these things. See if you can read my book and tell me how bad it is or how good it is, but the most important thing, do something. Do not be quiet and try to tell your neighbours about what's happening.
In some parts of the world, it's perhaps too late. In some cities in London, the Muslim population has reached 70% now in Birmingham, for instance. So they have reached the point of no return. It's not possible to recover a place that has been at such a terrible level of replacement, but we have to think about what we can do for our children. And then we have chapters here about hate crime laws, for instance. Hate crime law is very simple. The more you are a bigot and the radical, and the more you hate this country, the more protection you get from these laws. So the laws are actually used as instruments of bigotry rather than the other way around. Because I tell you one thing, tolerant people don't go suing others if they don't like what you have to say. No idea can be ultimately decided by a court.
Judges are not there to say, "I like this idea more than this other idea." So if you have a system such as this, these laws are actually used or being used as instruments of intolerance and bigotry. And there is an a holy alliance when I say about the left and the Islamists because they are creating, imposing on us Sharia law by stealth. What we have in these laws is basically to say that there is a religion not to be protected from criticism. And so we have to say that these laws are reintroducing blessing law in Australia. They are blessing law, laws by stealth. And I think in a democracy, everybody has the right to express their opinions with Gabriel and I in this book. And please interrupt me. You can stop me if I start being too excited and talking too much. But the point is that the ancient Greeks had a word for this.
It's called Parisia. And Parisia is that you as a citizen had the right to express your opinions. Otherwise, you should be declassified and considered to be a slave. Those who do not have the right to express their opinions are not free citizens. They are slaves. And what the ruling classes are trying to do to you is to turn you into slaves. They are forcing you to accept your destiny, which is to be subject to this oppressive regime. They don't care about you, and they actually want to replace you with others who will be more subservient and submissive to their own interests. I think it's time to say that you want to survive. I think it's time to say that we value individual rights and freedoms because they are not given by government and what government has not given, then government cannot take away. God gives and God takes away blessed by the name of the Lord and not of the state.
So these rights are fundamental rights, they are inelible. They are non-negotiable. You cannot negotiate them. We should have a very clear message here. And as we say in the book that these rights are not to be traded and the governments who try to do so become tyrannical and we have therefore the rights to resist even by violence if necessary. I hope that is not going to be the case, but the fact that you have the right for a conservative revolution if necessary. I will tell you one thing. I'm not going to accept the governments to remove more rights. I'm not going to tolerate together with you what they're doing to our children and they are killing us. They're imposing vaccine mandates on you that are not testable. We have a whole chapter about this problem, the problem of the vaccines. I hate to be perhaps talking too much because there are so many bad things to say, and that the speech can take two hours and it's not going to be effective enough.
So perhaps we can have a further discussion about the bad things that are taking place, children being mutilated, boys being castrated, girls, girls having their breasts being cut off. It's evil. They are behaving like the Nazis. And by the way, in one of our books, we explained that emergency powers were created by out of Hitler, by the way. Our constitution doesn't have anything about emergency power, but the Weinmark Constitution had a clause on emergency power and they know very well. We know very well where they got this from. They got this from the Nazis in the 1930s. And now we know what is to be a good German. We had plenty of good Germans, those sigh people in this country. We have to stop this. Enough is enough and teach the government that they cannot do these things with impunity. Let's fight. The price of freedom is a tonne of vigilance and we will be free forever.
We will fight for this and with God, we will achieve a victory because with him, all things are possible, including this victory. Thank you very much. Thank you. Thank you very much. Thank you. Thank you.
